Hello World . . . as the fall breezes blow in and mother nature makes her presence known to us in all sorts of ways, let us prepare ourselves for the holiday season. May the higher power of your choice bless you and your family.

As all of the mania gets started, let us remember not to be governed by ridiculous spending and trying to meet unhealthy expectations. Ladies, let yourselves be calm and peaceful deep inside, knowing you did not cave into the pressure of the holidays. Yeah, take a holiday from "the pressure" of the holidays. I know it seems impossible, believe me I have been there. Declare it is OK to acknowledge your limits, and respect them !!!

So here we go . . . I declare we hang on to ourselves and not get lost in the myriad of tinsel, wrapping paper, and those ridiculous lines to get the "hottest toy" of the season . Honey, it is all marketing.

Yes, let us really enjoy this season, those beautiful fall breezes, the golden sunsets, and the liquid sunshine that some call rain. Let us remember and pray for the many families who have lost their loved ones. As we gather, smiling faces of family all together, ( even though they get on your last nerve ) cooking and enjoying the true spirit of the season.

One love.
