Christmas Day 2008 . . . will have an even deeper meaning for millions globally . . . remembering the life of such a great woman.

Ms.Kitt died from colon cancer at Columbia Presbyterian Hospital, in Connecticut. She was 81. Her daughter Kitt Shapiro . . . was by her side.

An elegant career throughout a span of 60 beloved years.

From her teenage audition before the legendary Katherine Dunham Dance Troupe in New York . . . to her last on camera appearance for the most recent PBS Special, Ms. Kitt was the essence of theatrical . . . royalty.

I personally had the honor of watching her perform in the amazing production of "Timbuktu." She was brilliant. She was an original, unforgettable, enigmatically entertaining, sensually educating . . . gazelle.

Used to be . . . Americans of all walks of life could earn a decent wage, provide for their families, and ensure their kids would have access to an education.

Used to be . . . women could live in peace in our nations communities without being raped, beaten, carjacked, mutilated, shot, and murdered.

Used to be . . . our nations schools were a place for learning, growing, and leaping into the next realm of education, opportunity and elevation.

Used to be . . . our nations health care system was accessible, available . . . and most importantly efficient and affordable.

Used to be . . . families were intact and structure was a staple of the American household.

Used to be . . . music was melodic, loving, and talent based.

Used to be . . . commitment was taken seriously, and committing to the commitment . . . was sacred.

Used to be . . . our banks were stable places to let our money flow and grow.

Used to be . . . investing was conservative, slow, steady, and a clear guide to monetary accumulation.

Used to be . . . our American automotive industry was a beacon of pride, integrity, and beautiful automotive ingenuity.

Used to be . . . our mortgage industry was sound, reliable and trustworthy.

Used to be . . . mothers and fathers took time with their children, providing love, nurturing, and role modeling . . . healthy examples.

Used to be women . . . said NO to loose, non committed, chemically induced, and belittling . . . sex.

Used to be . . . men would step up and call a gross, violent, grotesque, lazy, low information man . . . OUT!!!

Uncertainty, volatility, instability, loss, and a painful economic reality are laced throughout the memories of 2008.

Where do you start? Banks failing . . . and taxpayers bailing out to the tune of hundreds of billions. Americas monetary system subsidized by the United States Government.

Job losses at record highs . . . with no end in sight. Foreclosures at unprecedented highs . . . and climbing. The automotive sector is undergoing a major overhaul . . . but can it survive its own restructuring?

Families stressed . . . with loved ones serving militarily on rotating tours of duty. Two wars . . . and global tensions very tender and vulnerable.

Americans of all walks of life . . . being affected by the lean and mean national economy. Americas global reputation is at an all time low.

No longer a manufacturing base, America is now a consumer and entertainment based economy. Sad.

Hello World. I want to thank . . . the negatives.

As a long time weight lifter and exerciser . . . I've learned and know the long term power and value of resistance . . . training.

Lifting, squatting, pumping, running, walking, pulling, and pushing . . . are necessary parts of the game. Sweat inducing, heart thumping, muscle pumping and toning . . . resistance.

Bring it!!!

In order to get the muscles strong . . . the resistance must be strenuous. I love to get what I've referred to for years as . . . "big sweaty!!!"

And so it is with . . . the negatives. There is strength, character, tenacity, and yes . . . gold in the experience of the resistence. It's all . . . in the resistance.

Resisting the negatives . . . is a conciousness. Be patient . . . it may take time.

Never allow anyone . . . to demean, discount or belittle you. Women know this all too well . . . as we tend to do it to ourselves. It can only happen with our permission.

Don't allow it!!!

Resistance training is fabulous. It prepares us for all sorts of situations!!!

Along with Lycra leggings (shiny, and primary in color), big hair, lets not forget the mousse, unconstructed suits . . . and we all remember the cardboard stiff, and huge shoulder pads in the lusted for . . . overpriced designer suits.

Along with all of these memorable and tired trends . . . was also the terminology of . . . Voo-Doo economics!!!

Served to "We The People" . . . as "trickle down economics." The root word of trickle . . . is trick!!!

Trust us . . . was the vaporized political message. Many bought the BS tagline!!! Many more . . . questioned.

Well Voo-Doo economics . . . has gone through the system of our great nations business and government policies and implementations, about 25 years worth . . . and we now have Doo-Doo economics!!!

Yes . . . I said it!!! Doo-Doo economics!!!

Explosive diarrhea . . . Doo-Doo economics. Globally explosive . . . Doo-Doo economics!!!

Voo-doo economics . . . has gone through the slow and grinding system of governmental intestines . . . and we are now left with global Doo-Doo economics!!!

How much of the explosive Doo-Doo economics . . . are you left to clean up?

Massive consumer debt, unprecedented home foreclosures, record numbers of business closings, unending job losses, massive bank failures, the "big three" automakers hanging by a bailout or bankruptcy thread, and on and on and on . . .

America, and the World . . . are looking to the Administration of President Elect Barack Obama . . . to begin the massive clean-up . . . of what is the other side of the Voo-Doo economics . . .

Doo-Doo economics!!!

Name a sector . . . banking and financials . . . . . . please. Paulson, and crew said one thing initially . . .then did the hardest pivot I've seen in a long time . . .

Paulson worked the700+billion dollar bailout/rescue catwalk . . . strong and dramatic like a couture . . . beloved Milan Fashion Week production.

Got to the end of the paparazzi filled catwalk of precious liquidity and then the deliciously wicked . . . pivot!!!

Bravo . . . high drama . . . indeed!!!

Except . . . now "We The People" are screwed even more so than we were before.

The "drunk" spending our government has allocated the taxpayer to pay back is epic . . . and extremely tragic.

We will be paying back this borrowed freshly printed cash . . . for many generations to come!!! Just the thought of such debt incurred . . . is nauseating.

Our great, great grandchildren will be paying for this . . . and rightfully pissed. Period.

Military spending is . . . where do you start . . . extremely bloated .

Our precious military men and women are exasperated, dissipated, exhausted. Many of our nations finest . . . are overwhelmed and will need our great nations help for all of their honorable lives.

Millions of "We The People" . . . are doing what we must . . . not what we want to do!!!

Buyers . . . are pulling back in a major way. Hold my purse . . . has taken on an entirely different and much more . . . serious meaning.

Big time rises in job loss numbers . . . and a choked and cold credit market is bringing an even colder chill to this uncertain holiday season . . . and beyond!!!

84,868 . . . homes were lost to foreclosure in the month of October 2008 . . . alone. Damn!!!

Another 279,561 . . . homeowners received foreclosure filings, in the month of October of 08 . . . hello!!!

There have been 34 back to back months . . . of foreclosure pain and utter devastation!!!

And . . . we haven't even began the discussion of 2 wars . . . the auto industry debacle . . . and the banking incompetence and corruption.

Many within the banking sector are receiving bonuses . . . for what??? Bonuses for . . . tanking an entire sector of the American economy?!!! Bonuses for the incompetent and corrupt . . . with taxpayer bailout freshly printed (and borrowed) . . . cash is absolutely disgusting!!!

Financial and monetary markets . . . monetized by government. Companies . . . failing and falling. Jobs . . . lost. Fuel costs . . . uncertain. Times . . . rough. Debt . . . stratospheric. Credit . . . choked. Food prices . . . high. Tensions . . . real. Plans . . . canceled.

Pussy . . . and guaranteed access to loose and irresponsible sexual activity . . . HELL NO!!!

I know . . . I know, many women and men have an issue with the word . . . "pussy". It makes many uncomfortable. However . . . I do not have an issue with the word, or the dialog.

We are going there. Stay with me . . .

I am simply not afraid of the conversation. My belief in the core and fundamental issue of pussy . . . and the connectivity it has to our issues as women . . . is worthy whatever embarrassment.

The strategy of P . . . Who are you allowing near you . . . ? And . . . more importantly . . . who do you allow near your children . . . ?

What type of P behavior do you engage in . . . ? Only you know the answer!!! This is very personal . . . work.

The strategy of P . . . is critical to every females life. Leaving P to chance and day to day floating hollow . . . in the low self esteem vaporized swirl . . . is not a pstrategy!!!

The PSTRAT: RESPECT . . . "P". PROTECT WITH DIGNITY, DECENCY, GRACE.

SAYING NO . . . AND MEANING IT.

FEELING THE READJUSTMENT. FEELING THE TRANSITION. THIS . . . IS THE PSTRAT!!!

The PStrat . . . is closing your legs, and taking the time necessary for you to figure your life, issues and struggles . . . out. The birthright of respect, dignity, decency . . . and grace.

This will be easier for some than others. This . . . is a process. This . . . takes time. We have lived decades with the mindset . . . "if it feels good do it!!!" Now . . . it feels like crap . . . and many don't want it!!!

Where are women going in this the 21st century . . . ? What is your pstrat . . . ? How do we regard ourselves as women . . . ? What is our contribution to the many issues we have undeniably fallen to . . . ?

HIV in America is . . . high. STD's . . . high. Girls are sexually active younger and younger. We have all seen news reports, and read studies. We know we have a very serious . . . problem. Women are constantly victims of domestic abuse. The violence towards women is off the charts!!!

My overall point . . . just as this is the era of monetary and financial cutbacks . . . just as times are tight . . . just as the economic markets are having to readjust, restructure, reorganize, and consolidate . . . so should we.

Women, PULL BACK . . . and be still. Take time to structure a PSTRATEGY. The days of guaranteed, loose, non committed, media illusion induced . . . sex . . . should be narrowing, shrinking and consolidating.

Protect. Respect, dignity, decency, grace, confidence and calm. This is the era of . . . PSTRATEGY!!!
