Hello World. Ahhhh . . . can you feel the shift. Race and transcending it, processing it, dealing with it . . . intellectually and from a fresh perspective. Realizing all races have issues . . . and acknowledging how far we all have come . . . In all that has been said this week . . . let us take pause and yes . . . acknowledge how far we have come.
I realize many people just want all of this to just go away . . . it is very uncomfortable. You do not want to talk about it, even if you agree with only "some" points within the discussion . . . everybody just shut up already !!!
But . . . we all know these are core related issues and bringing our best selves to any game is the desired play. Being able to call out crazy, whether in the church, the schools, and yes of course the home . . . regardless of our culture, is just the right thing to do. Period.
Being able to face oneself, acknowledging your strengths and weaknesses, admitting our ignorance, and anger, in honesty . . . is honoring all cultures as our American family. Our great nation deserves nothing less.
