Hello World. The new paradigm of patriotism. With the low level murmuring of media folk, and behind scene chatter of the political elite in our nation, (candidate surrogates and super delegates) . . . The Reverend Dr. Jeremiah Wright, "issue" hasn't gone anywhere.
I believe one can be mad at her/his nation and still be very much patriotic, and yes . . . very much LOVE THEIR NATION. America is the greatest nation in the World. However, the scar on "her" soul that is race, has yet to heal. Hopefully . . . elevated dialog will continue.
If the Reverend Dr. Jeremiah Wright issue does any good . . . it will have galvanized us to look at race and race dialog, from a new paradigm. Acknowledging our history (all of it), then taking a strong look at ourselves and deciding . . . where we are going from here.
