Man's ego can make us all do very strange things. Harnessing that ego is an art form, a great skill, a mastery of thinking . . . and yet this is our most important challenge, nationally and globally. Harnessing that ego.

Will we ever be able to live in some kind of harmony with the world? I am not talking modern day hippie Peace protests, no . . . I am speaking of a shift from ego driven decisions, to an awareness of the globe. All we have heard from our media and politicians is: "this is a new global economy" . . . well then communicate with the globe dammit!!!

You, the powers that be . . . wanted a global economy, and orchestrated it through legislation and corporate goodies . . . You are the architects of our current national and global situation . . . the ingredients seem to be government, business, and ego. The recipe has cooked us into a great big mess!!!

Now let's get this straight . . . the powers that be set the system up , now the system is screwed up, and we are not supposed to feel angst, anxiety, nervousness . . . come on!!! Even Dick Cheney said . . . this is "the new normal".
