Have you been "pimped by the pop culture process?" Are you a party mom, and like it? Putting your wants before your child's need, and could care less. Are you a non committed father, inactive in that child's life, detached from the physical responsibilities, let alone the emotional and financial.

Then why surprised . . . when the rap loving, gang banging, penis grabbing, 7year old, won't let anyone who wants an education get one, kid falls through the cracks of such a delusioned society. The kids that somehow make it through, they become labeled, uncle tom, nerd, dweeb, and whatever other affiliation the violent bullies attach. Many have been killed just because they wanted more, and a better way . . .

Have you been pimped by the pop culture process? Are rappers your leaders? If so, you definitely have been pimped by the pop culture process. Is the media footage of Brittany Spears your version of news? You have been pimped . . . If your historical reference of political and social watershed moments, is from tabloid magazines . . . pimped for sure!!! Have your kids enrolled in tart, slut, whore, thug, pimp university, by turning on the television?

Remember . . . "to make use of often, dishonorably, for ones own gain or benefit" . . . is to be pimped. Think about it.

We the folks, have been bred as a culture to be media, political and retail sheep. We the folks, have been labeled unimportant. We the folks, have been deemed powerless. Our cultural violence, on each other, our communities, our schools, our lack of desire for education, is all evidence of the pimping.

We the folks have been Pimped. We had better wake our butts up.
