Hello World. Hello Mothers!!! Enjoy your day. I know it's technically Sunday, but hey take the weekend. We are moms . . . we can do that.

And then there are the "other" moms . . . how do we deal with that? With them? What if mom is a questionable character . . . ? Of course we love in spite of . . . but really, how does one do a Mother's Day? Pretend as though we don't know, play it off, go along with revised, and rewritten family history?

Come on . . . don't act as though you don't know what I'm talking about. What if mom is a whore, an abuser, a criminal, neglectful, abrasive, and goodness knows we could go on and on and on . . . what if she is sweet sometimes, mean and back biting at others? What if she has little to no ability to communicate gentle and pure? What if she has some ability to nurture, but drowns it in adult recreational activities. How do you work . . . Mother's Day?

Motherhood is multifaceted, and can be complicated for some. Hopefully awareness of who we are, and knowledge of what it truly means to be a mother . . . a loving and beautiful beacon . . . where all the child has to do, is follow her lead, will one day be known.

God Bless the Mothers of the World. You are the beacon of mankind.
