Hello World. Page two. As I sip my morning coffee, and listen to talk radio via Internet (of course) . . . this latest Clinton misspeak is on the minds of many Americans . . . on this Memorial Day 2008.
As we take pause to remember those who have sacrificed all defending our great nation . . . Senator Hillary Clinton's voice, words, and the visual of her remarks invoking "assassination" are front and center . . . no doubt about it !!!
The typical and tired "media backslide" and "political moon walking" is in full swing. The approach of subject changing, moving on and pivoting, isn't working this time. This particular "political stench" will linger historically.
The Sunday talk programs were in full throttle. Pedigreed pundits, and the politically powerful have tried to explain away her "assassination" remarks. Good luck with that one . . . the uncomfortable and squirming, body language tells a much different story.
There has been a litany of explaining when it comes to Senator Hillary Clinton. Apparently the brand of "Clinton," means to explain gaffes and misspeaks, because of fatigue, stress, and whatever other excuse a hired political hand can come up with.
If the American populous is dumb enough to buy all of this explaining, misspeaking, and denying . . . expect even more explaining, misspeaking, and denying in the future.
