Hello World. As I prepare to go to the track and say hello to the day officially . . . all I think is gratitude.
With all of the mania going on . . . news, political, economic, geo-political, work (if you still have your job) . . . gee, where can I just go and breathe. Where can I suck and blow for about an hour and prepare for the day?
Ahhh the track. It's "dealing with the difficult" in a very physical way!!! I love it . . . every body aligning, gluteal squeezing, shoulder squaring, heel landing, sweat like a pig and loving it . . . step.
So, here I go . . . it's a very personal endeavor. Healthy selfishness, I like to say.
So find a way for you to vent, sweat, and maintain your sanity. Mine is the track . . . what's yours? Let me hear from you!!!

Hello World. Friendships can be tricky situations. Some people are loners . . . and I know why. Processes of accommodations . . . can sometimes veil themselves as friendships.
Youth is about others liking you and you caring . . . oh so much. Maturity, as I see it is about YOU . . . LOVING YOU. Regardless of the mania that surrounds.
Age, time, patience, faith and grace all help one process . . . and proceed through all of life's intricacies. Love . . . YOU.

Hello World. Well . . . there they were and they look pretty good. Senator Hillary Clinton was the consummate professional today in Unity New Hampshire. Her words were passionate, and inclusive. Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton could actually become the ticket . . . hmmmmm.
So, where does it all go from here . . . ? Unity New Hampshire . . . the official kickoff of Obama 08!!! What do you think . . . ? Should she be on the ticket? Will Senator Obama choose Senator Clinton to be on the ticket . . . ? Does he need Hillary Clinton . . . ?
Let me know what you think . . . ? Along with whatever else is on your mind.
What's up with many teachers in America . . . ? Teachers . . . stop using the kids in the schools of America as your dating pool!!!

Hello World. Thank You Mr. Nelson Mandela for saying NO . . . to Naomi Campbell!!! Mr. Mandela's 90Th birthday party festivities . . . will not have Ms. Campbell participate in any official capacity.
To have hit the genetic jackpot . . . is fabulous in itself. Then land a great job, make tremendous money, see the world, meet special individuals like Mr. Mandela . . . and still be in a business that flushes faces like toilet paper . . . is a remarkable legacy and damn hard work!!! I get that, and respect it.
Naomi Campbell is a stunner. Period. However, with the many grand opportunities should come common sense. Naomi, come on now . . . !!! She has referred to Mr. Mandela as her "honorary grandfather" . . . well then this looks like tough love.
To reward Ms. Campbell's recent behavior would be sending the wrong message. Hopefully, Ms. Campbell will learn from the tough love of Mr. Mandela.
Happy 90Th Birthday . . . Mr. Nelson Mandela!!!

Hello World. With all the young girl and teenage mom's in the news these days . . . let us pay respect and acknowledge the young girls and teenagers who say . . . No . . . Not Me!!!
Thank you to the young girls and teenagers who have the courage, self love, and flat out wisdom to say No . . . Not Me!!! Thank you for knowing you deserve the very best. That starts with you . . . loving you, knowing you, and educating you. Thanking the heavens, your parents, and you . . . every step of the way.
Thank you young girls and teenagers, for knowing you matter!!! Thank you for living your life forward, and not setting yourself back . . . with the ultimate in obligation and responsibility.
Thank you for knowing you are special no matter your weight, skin color, complexion, thigh size, foot size, your height, your hair texture, the color of your eyes and on and on an on . . . Thank you for loving you . . . all of you, no matter what!!!
Young girls and teenagers . . . you do not have to prove yourself through the lame and ridiculous "pop culture hookup." The media platformed illusion of free, cute, hot, non obligatory, oh so fun sex . . . is just that . . . illusion!!!
Friends with benefits . . . does not benefit young girls and teenagers at all!!! This shallow, deceptive, and tired phrase "pickles" (October 5Th, "Whats in your pickle?") young, brilliant, and absorbent minds to think sex is is frivolous, easy, and the dumbest of all . . . guaranteed!!! This is absolutely stupid and dangerous.
Know this . . . you matter young girls and teenagers!!! You . . . matter!!! There is nothing glamorous about early, young and dumb sex!!! Value . . . yourself.
Thank you to the girls and teenagers who say . . . Hell No!!! . . . Not Me!!!Thank you for living forward. Loving . . . you.

Hello World. The notion of transforming democracy to the middle east is seemingly a far fetched notion at best. We have problems right here at home.
With the casualty rate of the War(s) (I always question the numbers) very high . . . and the severely injured rate even higher . . . mental and emotional suffering off the charts . . . I wonder what they are coming home to.
Millions of Americans have lost their homes. Jobs are on a slope . . . downward. Corporate America is looking to other nations for their thinning personnel rosters. Crime . . . is absolutely on the rise and a lot of the violence is going unreported, and under reported. Cops are retiring and many of our nations cities . . . have become full throttle danger zones. Kids younger and younger are wielding firearms, with no fathers in homes. Mothers are overwhelmed, overworked, underpaid and looking desperately for help.
We haven't even talked about the cost of everything going up every day . . . gas, energy, food, all plastic (petroleum) products and on and on and on.
So . . . when our courageous military personnel come home to America . . . what are they really coming home to . . . ? America loves and welcomes back home our United States Military. We need to take care of them and stand by and their families.
But first . . . can we please end this freakishly expensive, ill planned, ill purposed, and ill perpetrated . . . war!!! The resources are so desperately needed at home . . . lives, treasure and the big bear hugs of our nations moms, dads, brothers, sisters, uncles, aunties, cousins and friends in uniform. We miss and love you. Come home!!!

Hello World. What is 200,000 more barrels of oil really going to do? The cost of gas has gone through the roof and honey . . . I have made adjustments.
The high gas prices are finally making Americans think twice . . . about selection of car, and frequency of driving. I got the message, and apparently I'm not alone . . . because the traffic on the roads is looking a lot thinner.
So the Saudi Kings are giving us an additional 200,000 barrels . . . you know what . . . I'm cool. I'm conserving. I'm chilling. Americans are changing oil consuming habits . . . beginning to kick the oil habit, and getting off the "oil tiddy" isn't going to be easy, but boy is it necessary. Look . . . the era of cheap oil is OVAH!!! Welcome to the new . . .
What about you . . . ? Are you making adjustments . . . ? Have you changed any of your habits . . . ?

Hello World. Behavior . . . breadcrumbs. It is my opinion we as parents should not be shamed or embarrassed any longer . . . to wear an apron and overalls.
In order to notice, follow and stay on top of behavior breadcrumbs we need to spend precious time with the kids we created. Nurturing them in full throttle mom and dad drag . . . is OK. I know it's hard. It will be the hardest thing you will ever do. It will bring the ultimate in tremendous satisfaction as well . . . when those same kids cross that line from your obligation . . . to competent and able individuals . . . who can sustain and love themselves.
Do not ever be afraid or embarrassed to wear that apron and those overalls. The business of the American family must finally come first. Our children are paying too high a price for the shattered state of the family unit.
No school superintendent, teacher, clinic personnel . . . even though they work very hard . . . cannot substitute for the kids primal need for mom and dad.
Now . . . mom and dad should not be a drunk, a dope fiend, lazy, demeaning, violent, lusting inappropriately and on and on and on . . . mom and dad need to be . . . solid. Character, faith filled, generous in spirit, desirous of knowledge, patient, and nurturing ability has to be the core of the mom and dad rhythm. Feeling me . . . ?
Behavior breadcrumbs are all around us. Become more conscious about who is around you . . . and more importantly, your children. The best way to do that is to be as close to that unit as possible. Wearing your fabulous apron and overalls.
Nipping the behavior breadcrumbs in the bud, following them, expecting them and dealing with them head on . . . is definitely the best methodology. However, the first step is to acknowledge they exist . . . Feeling me . . . ? Behavior . . . breadcrumbs.

Hello World. As I think about the events that happen around us on a daily basis . . . there seems to be a common thread. Unearned . . . access. Delay of gratification . . . sexual or otherwise.
Stay with me . . . Unearned access has done more to set back, create infinite disrespect for, diminish, undervalue, weaken, and be a catalyst for so much reported, and God only knows the untold violence towards children and women. Period.
As women, and as a nation, we have taught our girls . . . no delay required, no character required, no age limit required, no age minimum required, no loving nature required, no brains required, no job(S) required, no compassion required, no nurturing ability required, definitely no table manners required, no good upbringing required . . . and on and on and on.
Nahhhh . . . you do not need any of the above . . . women give it up willingly. We have taught our daughters to do the same. This is INSANE!!! This is WRONG!!!
Standards are minimal at best. Mediocrity, and flat out heathenism is tolerated and rewarded . . . with access. Unearned . . . access.
Our sons learn . . . if you look like this, and dress like that, if you smoke this, and drink that, if you talk like this, and drive that, if you listen to this, and carry that . . . if you make this . . . you should be able to hit that!!!
Why are we women so stupid . . . ? This sort of demeaning, frivolous, shallow, ignorant, baseless, and mind numbing way of thinking . . . has been criteria for choosing partners and access . . . Unearned access.
What the hell is this . . . ? How nuts can we women be . . . ?
Do not be surprised . . . at the teen pregnancy rate, the early sexed, the beaten and worse, the sexually exploited, and all other chaos that comes with this way of thinking. Delay of gratification . . . sexual or otherwise is not even on the table any longer. Unearned . . . access.
The criteria measure of "he's cute" and "he's fine" . . . is THE criteria measure . . . that's it!!! "He's cute and he's fine" has gotten millions of girls and women . . . mislead, belittled, beaten and worse, miserable because she keeps picking the same one . . . and on and on and on. Don't get me started . . . on "he's cute" and "he's fine" . . . too late!!!
Our nations kids are very visual. Their brilliant minds soak up messages and imagery like fresh water to a dry sponge. They are so easily manipulated through the illusion, superficial and continuous. Our youth are buying it hook line and sinker . . .
So it's up to us . . . you and me. We need to constantly challenge the casual, drumbeat thumping vapors of mediocrity. Standards must be raised. Hell, just imposing ANY standards . . . would be a start!!! We need to become more conscious.
We can do better as a folk. We can do better as a people. We can do better as a nation . . . I know we can. Our kids . . . and our nation are worth every effort.
Let me know what you think . . .

Hello World. Well are you surprised . . . ? In Gloucester Massachusetts, at Gloucester High School . . . 17 girls took a pact to get pregnant, many of the girls are under the age of 16. Some of the males could be in their 20's . . . and possibly one of the males is even homeless, according to Time Magazine.
We as a nation have prematurely sexualized our children. Many media outlets sell sex constantly, and apparently we as parents are unable to talk to our kids. Whether it's embarrassment, inability . . . or a lack of knowledge of how. Somewhere, somehow . . . our young girls are getting the wrong messages.
Sexual behaviour is glamorized in many media outlets, and kids love media. Whatever has their mind . . . has them. We can do better as a nation to help our girls.
Talk with your children. Get in their heads. Connect with them . . . these young girls, and so many others were somehow mislead down life's path. This is a tragic and sad situation. There is nothing glamorous about premature motherhood. These young girls and many more will have to learn this fact . . . the hard way.

Hello World. In this historic and dramatic presidential campaign . . . let us give the candidates the space necessary to define themselves. Bombarding the public with tired, predictable, and obvious . . . media created caricatures of our nations political candidates and their wives . . . on either side of the aisle, is just that . . . tired, obvious, and so predictable.
Distractions will not work in this political season . . . sure some will always slide into the old comfort of manipulated hatred. I get that. However, the nation, and the World is forging forward in thought and hopefully . . . deed.
Americas issues trump any attempted media distraction. First . . . our great nation is in debt, to the tune of trillions. Hello, say it with me . . . SERIOUS!!! Jobs are being lost by the tens of thousands per month. Hello, say it with me . . . SERIOUS!!!
War(s) . . . and the freakish amounts of money needed monthly to run this operation. Over four thousand of our precious family members and friends dead, with thousands severely injured, along with suffering mentally and emotionally. Hello, say it with me . . . SERIOUS!!!
Food prices are rising faster than fuel prices . . . and with the most recent natural flooding disasters in Iowa . . . goods that were already expensive are only expected to become even more so. Hello, say it with me . . . SERIOUS!!!
Ugh yeah . . . expect distractions . . . served on the typical media platter, and in rotation. However, in this historic and dramatic campaign season . . . issues trump any distraction. Oh yes, say it with me . . . SERIOUS!!!
What about you . . .? What adjustments have you made . . .? Have you made any adjustments . . . ? How is the current economic climate affecting you, and your family? Let me hear from you . . .

Hello World. Thank you Michelle Obama . . . your guest hosting "The View" brought me back to the show. It is wonderful to see a black woman in her grace . . . powering through adversity . . . with dignity.
Michelle Obama has been attacked by many in the media during this dramatic and historic presidential race. Whether the democrat primary, or now in the general election . . . she has had her share of media scrutiny to endure.
To see her front and center the gals on The View, was refreshing and inspiring. Tenacity, brilliance, style, and normality . . . were there for the world to see.
It is so good to move the image of the black woman forward in our global and domestic media. It has become casually acceptable that imagery of black women be callous, ignorant, and (shall I say) rump shaking.
Clearly it is time the imagery of black women be moved forward. Michelle Obama represents the millions of black women who work hard, love and maintain their families, like a pretty dress, good shoes, and love their nation.
Thank you Michelle Obama . . . and The View.

Hello World. Where are the no violence tolerating men of the communities? Many American communities are out of control. Where are the folks who say NO!!! Where are the men, standing up, saying NO!!! You are not going to hurt my wife, mother, child, babies, NO!!! You are not going to come in my home rob, tie up, shoot, and stab . . . with your baggy pants, gangsta rap, and 40 ounces!!! Where are the men to handle these hoodlum males taking over many neighborhoods in America.
Women of all ages . . . our elderly, and children are being shot, stabbed, beaten, robbed, raped, killed, and treated horribly. We have all heard and seen news accounts . . . day and night about the women and children being mistreated so terribly. Where is the outrage? Community outrage!!! Righteous community outrage!!!
What the hell is going on? How dare folks just walk around thinking, lusting for, waiting, planning . . . how to do wrong to others. Where are the no violence tolerating men to call out these (for whatever reason) violent thugs?
What if violent heathens knew when they commit crime . . . they were going to get their asses handled. What if they had the real fear of correction . . . real correction would make a sucker think twice.
Regardless of culture . . . The rapist of a woman should be hunted down, handled, and their filthy ass turned into the authorities. The killer of children, the robbers of grocery stores . . . your dads and uncles need to handle (have a talk with you) . . . and take you to the police station. The rapist, robber, beater, bludgeoner, and killer of a 71 year old woman and killer of her dog too . . . should be handled. The legal process should be specific, swift and permanent. Outrage. Community outrage. Righteous community outrage . . . Where is the outrage?
Many American communities are out of control. This is about personal responsibility. Where are the no violence tolerating men? Where is the outrage? Righteous community outrage . . .

Hello World. As we adjust to living with less (I have a feeling we haven't seen anything yet . . .) maintaining peace and balance becomes most important.
With America's economy in a very fragile state, and all that encompasses . . . stress takes a tall toll on the family unit. It is so very important to hold on and maintain peace and a sense of sanity.
Hanging on is issue one . . . and I intend to do just that. What about you? How are you adjusting to current circumstances and situations, in this sensitive economic environment? Let me hear from you . . .

Hello World. Thank you to Senator Barack Obama for addressing the absolute crisis of the lack of fathers in black families of America. With the speech being given on Fathers Day in Chicago at Apostolic Church of God . . . the most important words . . . were even more significant.
The epidemic situation can no longer be blamed on historic injustices. Although historic injustices are very real . . . this can absolutely no longer be used or accepted as an excuse. As a matter of fact . . . no excuse can be accepted any longer. Parental obligations trump all excuses.
Many black men need to accept with full knowledge . . . their responsibility to family, community, and nation. You are either part of the solution . . . or part of the problem. No excuses. Period.
Black women, must raise the standards of their man choosing. Begin to say NO sexually, to unworthy men. Period. Pick better. If you see the person who is trying to bed you has bedded others . . . as sport . . . guess what . . . you will be used as sport too.
We women need to begin to say NO sexually . . . and mean it!!! I have said many times, and will continue to say . . . the easy and irresponsible access to sex has not done women well.
There needs to be real dialog in the black community. Our issues are real. The ease of turning heads, sweeping under the rug, burying heads in the sand, putting blinders over eyes, not giving a hoot, and not wanting to talk about these and other very difficult family issues, is no longer acceptable.
The problems are too great that stem from no father in the home. Crime, teen pregnancy, youth violence, academic instability, and on and on . . . No government, or government official can fix this epidemic, nor should they be required to fix it. This is about personal responsibility. Our nation's children are worth every effort. Too many fathers have walked away from their highest obligation, their children.
Thank you Senator Barack Obama . . . for once again speaking of this tragic reality . . . and placing the responsibility in the hands of the people themselves.
Bottom line . . . close those legs, zip those ridiculous baggy pants, and open your minds . . . to the brutal reality of the fatherless children of America.
Fatherhood is serious business, motherhood is serious business. Serious loving, devoted, committed, nurturing, business. No government policy can do that. No politician can legislate that. Parenthood is the business of the parents. No excuses. Period.

Hello World. We acknowledge the great dads today, and really slow down and take the time . . . to hug him, love him, cherish him, go ahead make a fuss over him . . . he's dad.
Great dads are the much needed oil to the nation's machine. Mentally, spiritually, physically, emotionally, economically . . . dad matters. Period. Dad's . . . really matter. We had better wake up and realize it.
However, millions of children are, and have been . . . "dad less." They have had to absorb the shock of being left behind. The stress, drama, anxiety . . . and a myriad of other life complications all inherited . . . from the abandonment, the excuse making, the justifications, the just not giving a damn. He may be a DNA donor, but he is not . . . a dad. It takes love, curiosity, and a willingness to be accountable . . . to be a dad.
A dad is the committed, devoted, loving, hang in there when things get rough guy, yeah that guy. The title . . . dad, is earned from experience, from being there. Being a dad is serious business. Being a dad is earned. You finish what you start. You nurture what you create. Being a dad is leaving a legacy . . . not of unattainable perfection . . . but of a man who is grounded enough to know to live by example. A dad can say "I was wrong." Knowing and accepting we will all make mistakes, a dad can apologize . . . and mean it.
Things will happen. Setbacks will be part of any family journey . . . but to always nurture what you create. Now that . . . is a dad.
Happy Fathers Day . . .

As America absorbs the magnitude of our loss . . . and it is a huge loss, we remember and honor Tim Russert. On this Father's Day weekend . . . this is especially painful.
Mr. Russert's love of family, was the invisible bouquet on every desk or table where we were privileged to watch him. Though invisible . . . we all saw that beautiful love of family bouquet. Big Russ . . . became America's dad. How gracious of Mr. Russert to share his love of family with us all.
He will be missed eternally for so many reasons . . . his depth of knowledge politically, legally, journalistic, and the skill of life that made it possible for him to connect so gracefully, while always being tough and fair. The great ones make it look so easy. Mr. Russert was the great one . . . indeed.
God bless the Russert family, friends, and colleagues . . . God speed great one . . .

Hello World. America and the world lost a journalistic and political giant. Mr. Tim Russert . . . Washington Bureau Chief of NBC News and Moderator of NBC's "Meet The Press" . . . died today. He was 58.
To watch Mr. Russert's presentation was to watch journalistic and political professorship. He was the gold standard, and will truly be missed. Mr. Russert elevated political journalism, and broke it down for all to understand. You could see the research and homework he dedicated to whomever he was interviewing. He knew his subject, and subject matter. He knew what questions to ask, because he researched. You could see it. All the way having the time of his life. Mr. Russert loved his work. You could see it.
God Bless Mr. Russert and the Russert family, friends and colleagues. All who watched had the privilege of learning from him.

Hello World. Page two . . . As a black woman I am absolutely offended when the tired, issue defunct, fossilized, fear inducing, blowhard, blue faced media vessels attempt to slime Michelle Obama.
Back the hell off. Let me tell you as a black woman in America . . . an American loving black woman . . . in spite of all the b_______ this nation has doled on me and my ancestors . . . this demeaning of black women will not be tolerated. Period.
Black folk love this country, fight and die for her, put up with all kind of ignorant based racism, diatribe, cruelty, and legislation. Yes . . . it is an interesting experience being a black woman in America. Enough with the disrespect!!! You slime Michelle Obama . . . you slime the black woman. And this black woman . . . will not stand for it. Know that.
Attention media vessels. Black America is a demographic advertisers look forward to. Your tired, fear inducing, baseless, arrogant, fossilized, ignorant attempts to humiliate, slime, and disrespect Michelle Obama will backfire on you. And more importantly your advertisers. Americans see through the "business as usual" tactics of fear inducing, issue defunct, diatribe.

Hello World. Jefferson County 20 year English teacher, Paul Dawson of Valley High School has been suspended 10 days without pay . . . for admittedly using the slang term"nigga."
"Yes, I use the term "nigga" . . . I admit I've used it," said Mr. Dawson. He also says he is "cured," and "I will never use any form of "nigga" again!!!" He says the kids at school say "nigga" all the time, and wants a public school policy regarding this particular word.
Some are calling for his termination . . . however, I disagree. This is a cultural and social reflection . . . and we as a culture, and a society need to take a good long look at what is going on . . .
It is hypocritical for black folk to use this historically demeaning and most powerful word in any form, and then be absolutely offended when others use it.
We as black people need to check ourselves, and stop using this damned word!!! If you do not want the teacher(s) or folks in general to use it . . . stop using it yourself. Black folk hear me . . . no more double standard.

Hello World. It's not just the economy that's in the short term tank. The state of many American children and teenagers have also plummeted.
On May 28Th in Landover, Md. 4 teenagers . . . two, age fifteen and two, age fourteen . . . allegedly brutally assaulted Mr. Aboubacar Camara, age 56. He died two days later . . . at an area hospital.
Prince George's County Police Major Dan Dusseau reported "the individuals asked him for a cigarette . . . " when denied, they began beating him violently. They found the cigarettes . . . took them . . . and his shoes. Major Dusseau continued, "they left with the cigarettes."
Mr. Camara had been attacked just two days earlier . . . as he was walking home from work.
All four teenagers have been charged with first-degree murder, and are being held with no bond.
Many of Americas children and teenagers are missing something. A very large and serious something. They are missing parents, love, faith, nurturing, structure, inspiration, discipline, and a character based environment.
Why are our children and teenagers, allowed to walk and loiter the streets at all times of day and night? Is it because they see others do it? Others . . . they look up to. Why are girls and boys coarsened to a point of no return? Is it because society is coarsened and dumbed as a whole? Why are so many young . . . so violent? Is it because they witness so much violence (glamorized and non glamorized). Why are many "allowed" to be mothers and fathers, when clearly they are not qualified or interested in the greatest role of their lives?
These are just a few of the questions that come to mind. Why?
In the meantime . . . if these young people are found guilty . . . they should face the maximum penalty . . . and so should the adults that enabled them.
I know this is corny, old fashioned, and some may say Pollyanna . . . but it ALL starts at HOME. Period. If these were police officers who beat Mr. Camara to death . . . many in the same community would be outraged and in an uproar. Where is the outrage? I believe the outrage is in the "why" and the "who" . . . because it would point a blazing, and vivid finger at the parents and the community as a whole.
Parents must come clean and admit the dirty . . . that is going on literally right underneath their noses. These four young people had some adult(s) around them. All kids leave a "behavior breadcrumb trail" . . . and it's up to us as parents to follow those breadcrumbs . . . and not sweep them under the symbolic rug.
Unfortunately for Mr. Camara's grieving family, and all other families involved . . . it is too late.

Hello World. For all the rhetoric of this highly charged political season we find ourselves in today . . . let us stay focused on the issues . . . and not allow tired media created divide and distract manipulation, to in fact divide and distract.
Inflammatory code wording, race baiting, class separation, and any other form of manipulation is tired, stale, ignorant, childish, and beneath the greatness of America, and her fabulous citizens.
Our nation finds herself in an economic mess. The high cost of oil is affecting everything . . . not only our gas tanks, airline prices, and shipping costs. Companies that make goods derived of oil . . . their costs are soaring . . . and guess who is going to pick up the tab . . . ? Smile pretty in that mirror honey . . . because the answer is you and me.
Plastics . . . and what isn't made with plastic these days . . . computer screens, televisions, cosmetic packaging, those horrible flip flops, tires, diapers . . . and on and on and on . . . will cost consumers more. Just take a good long look around . . . where ever you may be right now . . . you got it. Most everything will be priced higher. The era of cheap oil is . . . "OVAH!!!" Period.
Companies will either raise their prices, because of their costs, shift to a cheaper procedure of production (good luck with that one), cut workers . . . or do all three. We already see the latter happening.
So here we are in a big economic, no one in charge mess . . . The immediate and permanent shift in our way of life is Real, Raw, and definitely Right Now . . .
The stock market "ain't" looking too good, can you say drama, drama, and more drama . . . (400.+ point drop this past Friday). We fabulous Americans guzzle 4 times more oil than we produce. Oh . . . and did you hear . . . the new record national average of gasoline is 4.00 a gallon (and that's just for regular). Foreclosures have reached unprecedented numbers, over 1 million this year (and it's only June!!!). This past May . . . 49,000 jobs were lost (and we all know more are coming . . . ).
So . . . for all the tired and stale media hyped divide and distract manipulations, code wording (Marxist, radical, liberal, communist, and any other label one can create and spew) . . . the obvious and extreme economic issues . . . trump all labeling. Don't be bambloozled.
America's situation falls on the watch of the current administration. Period. There is no tired and stale labeling, code wording, or name calling to camouflage that reality.

Hello World. Here we go . . . expect it . . . the tired, oh so molded, ridiculous racial rhetoric. Well for all those media and political race baitors who want to use Reverend Wright and whatever other tired racial tactic to distract, race bait and Reverend Wright this . . .
This election is about groceries, gasoline, guns, record job losses, record home foreclosures, and all the damn fools that let the nation get in this terrible predicament in the first place. Race bait and Reverend Wright that . . .
Race bait and Reverend Wright this . . . the cost of food is rising higher than the cost of gasoline. Food staples in America are being rationed with more rationing to come in the near future . . . race bait and Reverend Wright that . . .
Race bait and Reverend Wright this . . . gasoline and energy costs are through the roof . . . with no end in sight. Our nations leaders are treated like idiots as they travel overseas begging for more oil, and are told NO . . .go home NOW!!! Race bait and Reverend Wright that . . .
Race bait and Reverend Wright this . . . Job losses in March and April were much higher than the government reported previously. Payrolls are down another 49,000 and job losses have risen 5.5%. Employers have cut payrolls for 5 months in a row . . . Race bait and Reverend Wright that . . .
Race bait and Reverend Wright this . . . your city, county and state roads will not get the repairs they need because officials did not anticipate the increase of a barrel of oil. The cost of asphalt rose 26% . . . why? Because asphalt is oil based . . . Race bait and Reverend Wright that . . .
Race bait and Reverend Wright this . . . Our nations cities, and towns are becoming killing fields . . . many municipal officials are resorting to military style checkpoints to curb crime in their neighborhoods . . . Many of the very issues Reverend Wright has spent his time addressing!!!
Race bait and Reverend Wright this . . . More than one million homes have been foreclosed in America . . . with more to come . . . millions more are late on their mortgage payments, these numbers are record breaking in America . . . Race bait and Reverend Wright that . . .
For all media and political tired, molded, and oh so predictable race baiters . . . This election is about recession survival. Issues trump the ridiculous racial baiting.
Reverend Wright did not raise the cost of oil. Reverend Wright did not raise the cost of food. Reverend Wright did not make energy costs rise. Reverend Wright did not cause 49,000 job losses.
Reverend Wright is not a factor in this recession America finds herself dealing with. As a matter of fact YOU . . . media and political vessels, are the ones profiting from Reverend Wright. Your tactics are obvious, tired, insulting and ignorant based. Race bait and Reverend Wright that!!!

Hello World. Can we get on with it? Senator Barack Obama is the Democrat Nominee for President of the United States. Period. The primary battle was had . . . and is over. He is victorious. Period.
Senator Obama has every right to asses and take the time necessary to select the Vice Presidential nominee, as every other Presidential nominee has prior to him. There should be no strong arm, in your face, arrogant, sense of entitlement . . . pressure from Senator Clinton and her posse.
There are many talented, skilled, and tested candidates to choose from . . . Senator Jim Webb is fabulous, Senator Chuck Hagel is excellent, Senator Claire McCaskill of Missouri is awesome, Senator Sam Nunn is fabulous, Governor Bill Richardson is wonderful . . . There are many proven, strong and worthy candidates.
Whomever is chosen will have to roll up their sleeves and get to work . . . ASAP . . . America is dealing with groceries, gasoline record price increases, loss of mortgages at a record pace, and loss of jobs as well. Our nations schools are in dire need of restructuring and rejuvenation . . . starting with teacher pay increases!!! And on and on and on . . .
No one personality is more important than this nation!!! Period. Winners win, and losers lose . . . both have their place, and their role. Period.
Obama was the primary victor. Now, get on with the business of America!!! Period.

Hello World. Wouldn't it be lovely . . . if we could have peace and common sense . . . globally?
Wouldn't it be lovely . . . if our neighborhoods could be free of flying bullets, and fists? Wouldn't it be lovely . . . if our children could go to school with energized and PAID teachers, as well as energized, well nurtured and rested, book thirsty kids? Sitting up straight, bright eyed and getting the much needed lesson . . . in schools with solid infrastructure and freshly painted walls, with messages of inspiration and leadership . . . no Prozac or Ritalin necessary.
Wouldn't it be lovely . . . if our soldiers could return home to their loving families from a mission that we all know was ill planned, and ill purposed? Political leaders from all over the World coming together, talking, reasoning, shaking hands, and signing deals . . . as opposed to bomb dropping, game playing, lying, and being politically lazy by "not talking . . ." meanwhile America's leaders are receiving the delicious perks of a Washington, D.C. insider . . . the quiet Congressional legislated raises, full and fabulous health insurance, private cars, free congressional gyms, lavish hotel suites, billing of commuter airfare to the public, and God knows what other perks we the public will never know . . .
Wouldn't it be lovely if the oil Barron's of the World respected America, and brought the damn price of a barrel of oil down . . . or, we Americans come up with new energy sources all together, as opposed to the global oil Barron's looking at our nations leaders as stupid, small . . . and oh so needy of their precious black gold.

Hello World. Now what . . . ? With Senator Obama poised to win the Democrat nomination for President of the United States . . . The looming question on a lot of political minds is who will be the running mate?
As we watch, participate, email, blog, and discuss our opinions . . . the uncomfortable and prickly personal feelings cannot be avoided. This particular campaign has been very personal, and oh so dramatic.
Now what . . . ? Do we put our personal opinions aside and think as politicians do? Do we bite our tongues, hold our noses and vote in protest? Do we sit on our hands and do absolutely nothing (hopefully not)? Absolutely not . . .
With war(s), thousands of our precious family and friends dead and living with lifelong war trauma . . . with energy and fuel prices through the roof with no end in sight, with a mortgage crisis, (business and personal) unraveling before our very eyes, with our nations schools transforming into campuses of teaching tests, violence and death, with our nations food prices rising faster than fuel, with the cost of university study becoming beyond reach . . . and on and on and on . . .
We must stay engaged, connected, aware, and energized. The issues are as serious as they can get, and affect us all. Stay engaged, connected, and focused. Now what . . . ?
The election process is personal, dramatic and extremely serious.

Hello World. The World says farewell to legendary haute couture master . . . Yves Saint Laurent. Mr. Saint Laurent died Sunday.
I remember watching his farewell appearance via a cable network seven years ago. The moment was significant in fashion history, and to longtime serious fashionistas.
Growing up a skinny, shy, nerdy, quirky kid . . . I would blissfully savor the large, glossy, style inspiring pages of the fashion bibles . . . Essence, Ebony, Vogue, W, and Elle magazines.
The powerful, glamorous, and artful apparel of YSL, was, and still is . . . in the closets of the wealthy and powerful. An inspiration to so many, Saint Laurent will always be . . . regarded as a style genius.
To this day . . . the Yves Saint Laurent "Le Smoking" and his highly praised and fierce "Femme Tuxedo" are two of the most fabulous pieces any woman can ever wear!!! Wearable Art . . . Period.
Wearing Yves Saint Laurent, was and still is . . . to wear Femme Power. The art, discipline, craft, skill, and passion of this great couturier will forever be missed . . . and remembered.
Declarations Of India, and The India DeClair Show says farewell great one . . . and thank you.

Hello World. The Democrat Primary process has shown how Americans can have disagreements, different positions, and distinct emotions . . . and still air those grievances publicly and openly, while working to resolution.
While watching the Rules and Bylaws Committee meeting of the DNC yesterday, I was proud of the process . . . and discipline of the committee members.
The issues are emotional and all are passionate about their candidate. However, the powerful political process of open procedures was symbolic of America's strength.
The Democrat Party should be applauded for working through differences with integrity.
