Hello World. Sooooo good to be back with you . . . all. And . . . I do mean . . . back!!!

I've been caught in the furor of Mother Nature . . . better known as IKE. Don't let the name fool you. Ike was the designated name . . . but that was all . . . MOTHER NATURE!!!

Many lives have been devastated, torn up, twisted, and spun around . . . lost. The shock, business, and spirit of determination "swirl" takes hold . . . and life will . . . go on. The sadness.

Nothing like a natural disaster to reveal the core of the system it hit. And boy . . . did it hit the system. The entire infrastructure of the Houston, Galveston and surrounding areas got hit . . . hard.

Flattened. Knocked Out. No power, gas, water . . . and no excuses!!!

Bureaucrats and power company executives . . . scrambling, finger pointing, and finally . . . organizing.

Police departments that were already on skeleton staffs, and budgets . . . operating overwhelmed daily, strained even more, with the outright mind blowing reality . . . of catastrophic devastation . . . naturally.

We will get into IKE . . . and all it's fury. Natural, budgetary, . . . and political.

The blanket of cover is being ripped off many municipalities . . . like IKE ripped off rooftops. Bureaucrats covers are being blown . . . like IKE blew roofs off homes, homes off foundations, and boats like toys.

Wake Up People!!!

People, municipalities, states, the nation, and the World . . . are watching, praying, and pulling for Houston, Galveston and surrounding areas.

Left in pieces . . . with many, many, lives to match. We . . . will get through.

Nothing like a natural disaster to make one appreciate the little things . . . the very little things.
