Well here we go again, yet another smear job via editing and rushing to cameras with bias denigrating commentary. Case in point: the story of Shirley Sherrod.
"So called" NEWS organizations, the NAACP, and The Agriculture Department sprinted (in stilletos, and wingtip oxfords) before cameras and on websites . . . aimed, and ready to dismiss, smear, and destroy.
The NAACP apologized, and said they were "snookered" by the "so called" NEWS organization. The Agriculture Secretary is said to be reviewing this case. And he should!!!
The greater story is how rigid ideology, an apparent endless thirst to demean, debase, berate, diminish and smear, and an immediate media can get it ALL so very WRONG!!!
All involved in this travesty should apologize publically.
Ms. Sherrod's story is one of compelling growth, transformation and evolution. Learning, and a life dedicated to working in peace for all humanity.
