Hello World. A measure of any nation's character, people, and community is how that nation, people, and community treats their children.
Let's take a look at how children are treated in our society.
We are violent to America's children: beating, abusing, raping, molesting, murdering, drowning, chaining, neglecting, and abandoning our nations . . . precious and brilliant children.
We program and condition America's children with imagery, verbiage and environmental factors that are clearly and boldly NOT . . . in their best interest.
We as a nation, people, and community have been sexually inappropriate with America's children.
We as a nation don't want to feed, and have affordable housing for, America's poorest children. Yet we expect children to sit still, do well in school, do well on evaluation tests, and have the sacred desire, esteem, and ability to get to higher and life changing . . . education.
We as a nation have not prioritized the education of America's children. America's domestic, and global ranking of literacy and academic proficiency are proof of this lack of priority.
Obviously, I am not saying "all" children are treated this way, however one child is too many to suffer this horror . . . and the statistics of violence against children are staggering.
Without acknowledging the many serious issues, events, and concerns, current and longterm, in "your" best interest, in all laps, on all tables . . . we will only have more of the self destructive . . . same. PERIOD.
Let us speak to, acknowledge, and be proactive in facing the brutal realities America's precious and brilliant children face, and have the desperately needed courage to DEAL WITH THE DIFFICULT. REAL. RAW. RIGHT NOW . .
