***** The President Obama proposed tax rate extension agreement, backed by many Republicans . . . is causing a continued uproar in congressional conversation. However, will at the end of the day . . . Democrats back, and vote for this highly controversial (and painfully expensive) deal?
Is there to much economic and opportunistic optimism in the deal . . . ? The words "may" and "could" are used a lot in the economy dialog, and economic layout of the varying taxation packages. However the economic "may," and "could" . . . possibly 'may' economically not, and 'could' economically not.
Look, in the many writings I study . . . and we discuss most, the economic future long term is said to be tough going, and rough economic waters. With decades of trade agreements, and multinational corporation tax incentives to outsource, and offshore tens of millions of jobs over the past thirty years . . . two years of this deal doesn't look to change things to much . . . long term.
Back to the Presidential political controversial proposal:
Will Social Security ultimately be compromised . . . and on the congressional chopping block in two years? The payroll tax 'holiday' many write, could come back to bite Social Security in a big way.
The White House White Board, and Austan Goolsbee, Chairman of the Council of Economic Advisors lays out the specificities of the tax rate extension plan.
