The high profile controversial case turns a definite corner today, as Jamie and Gladys Scott, jailed since 1994 were released today.
In December, Mississippi Governor Haley Barbour indefinitely suspended the life sentence of the Scott sisters, and made the stipulation of Gladys donating a desperately needed kidney to her ailing sister Jamie.
Update:
At a highly anticipated press conference, Jamie Scott bellowed gratitude for she, and Ms. Gladys Scott's freedom. Saying "I AM SO GRATEFUL!!!"
Thank you to all who worked so diligently for the release of the Scott sisters.
***** The debt ceiling, and how it will be handled.
Treasury Secretary Geithner sent a spine shivering letter to Speaker Boehner, congressional leaders, and members yesterday.
Secreatry Geithner said:
“Failure to raise the limit would precipitate a default by the United States. Default would effectively impose a significant and long-lasting tax on all Americans and all American businesses and could lead to the loss of millions of American jobs.”
Speaker Boehner is emphasizing the need for painful budget cuts to be made in order for Congress to authorize the debt ceiling to be raised.
WOW. Will serious, and painful budget cutting be the price for raising the debt ceiling?

The Congressional Budget Office has announced the Republican desired repeal of The Affordable Care Act will increase the deficit by hundreds of billions.
