Don't beat yourself up, you're already beat up!
We are conditioned as the masses to beat the stew out of ourselves, and all others (in one way or another). It is a sad, and sick reality but I believe it would help us all if we looked inward at how we beat ourselves up, and beat each other up as well.
War (s), criminality, domestic violence, bullying, entertainment; wrestling, football, hockey, basketball, film, television, video games, rhetoric, children, teens, young adults, old adults . . . and on and on and on...
Profit driven industries stem from all the beating up.
Constant beating up is in the form of words (spoken aloud, and spoken to ones self silently), fists, bullets, and bombs. Beating up can often be dressed up, bureaucratized, and pontificated, making itself known via legislation, policy, and implementing.
Of course the glamorized presentation of beating up in the form of 'entertainment' makes the beating up stealth, and worse. In glamorized mode the beating up, on many levels is being massaged, and conditioned to be acceptable.
Beating up in the form of criminality feeds the need for lawyers, judges, and the entire money making machine providing 'justice' to those who beat up, and go through the system because of it.
Beating up in the form of entertainment, feeds the film, television, music, and sports industries. Beating up and using violence to control the world feeds the massive, mind blowing, profit machine that maintains war (s).
What if we could have a day, just one day... with noone beating the crap out of someone else?
