>> The American (and global economies) have been held economically hostage by Republicans voting NO NO NO NO NO on everything from the debt ceiling fiasco, to the American Jobs Act, (whether as one piece of legislation or pieced out as slices of legislative economic assistance).
>> The Republican mindset of NO NO NO NO NO is full throttle, and in full effect. The infamous Supreme Court Ruling “Citizens United,” and the new mantra of ‘Corporations are people …’ was a blazing indicator of where all this is going.
>> From Herman Cains: “if you’re not rich, don’t blame the banks, blame yourself!” To Mitt Romneys: “don’t try to stop the foreclosure process, let it run its course.”
>> Remember the rock star concert applause at the historic high and horrific execution rates in Texas? I will never forget the unbelievable booing of a fabulously handsome and muscular Iraq Veteran, who happens to be gay, asking about “DADT.”
>> We have heard ear curdling screams of “let him die” re: a question of a young American having insurance, from the Republican audience of a recent Republican debate.
>> Yet another unbelievable statement from Mitt Romney at another recent Republican debate… saying “I’m running for office… I can’t have illegals.” This latest debate was so contentious… it rivaled a Real Housewives Reunion show!
>> The Republican led Anti Labor, anti Union, anti Average American, anti Immigrant, anti Teacher, anti Police Officer, anti Firefighter, anti Social Security, anti Medicare, anti #OCCUPY WALL ST., anti fair taxation and anti on and on and on movement is mind numbingly detached, completely out of touch and callous.
>> Yesterday, CNN’s “State of the Union w/ Candy Crowley” interviewed Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY), where he says the states should NOT be bailed out, and the ‘showering’ of money on states must end. (I’m paraphrasing). Excuse me, We The People bailed out the worst of the worst… to the tune of trillions.
>> And today, the obvious, deliriously desperate, and politically creepy Governor Rick Perry (R-TX) is bringing up the birth certificate NONSENSE again re: the President of the United States of America, Barack Obama.
I have said, and will continue to say, either your party is working to bring jobs to Americans, or your party is working asphyxiating, killing, suffocating while distracting people from the issue of jobs in America. PERIOD.
But… this time The American People are awakening to the reality. Business as usual, and BS talking points aren’t going to save politicians this time.
>> Clearly the political dialog in America has shifted. There is a callous, inhumane, detached, and DON’T GIVE A DAMN mindset Republicans have displayed and voted from. Goodbye “Compassionate Conservatism,” hello I’ve Got Mine… Tough If You Don’t Have Yours Conservatism!
