However, I have been watching the murder trial of Casey Anthony, and many issues, events, and concerns come to the surface in connection to this case.

Casey Anthony is on trial for the killing of her almost 3 year old precious little girl Caylee. There are so many deep, dark and normally unspoken facets to this case.

Prayers, to this family who has been brought to its knees with the horror of losing a daughter, and grand daughter.

Millions are watching, and sympathizing with the parents of Casey Anthony, and grandparents of little Caylee. I am one of those millions watching, and processing the many nuances of this case.

So many issues: The complications of what a mother is expected to be, versus the brutal reality of what many mothers actually are.

The many unspoken mother, daughter issues of complication, disappointment, denial, and horrific acceptance.

One thinks about mothers knowing (in silence) their adult kids are varying degree of monster, but deny the obvious only to live in an extended fantasy of perceived perfection. No one wants to be the mother of an adult child monster, no one.

Are you a parent who continually rescues your adult child? Are you as the parent of adult kids always there to rescue, while deny the wrongdoing, make excuses for, and walk on eggshells around your problem adult child?

Could you protect, make excuses, lie for, and help your adult child evade reality, and responsibility for their own troubling, and possibly disturbing behavior(s)?

Are you repeatedly rescuing your adult child, enabling the (varying degree of) monster they are becoming, or have become?
