As the government shutdown was averted late last evening, the Republicans won the numbers as they got $38 billion in cuts for the 2011 budget, plus many of the riders they wanted.
However, the Republicans lost big . . . in the way they won. The bashing, verbal beating, and verbal humiliating of government employees (state and federal).
The Republican playbook once and for all has been revealed for all to see undeniably . . . the appeasing the wealthiest with hundreds of billions in tax cuts, and tens of billions in tax payer subsidies to oil companies, etc., while dismissing and decimating working class Americans, the working poor, and the poor in this country.
The most vulnerable in America is being forced to pick up the tab for the inexcusable activity that created this mess in the first place.

As you are reading Republicans have proposed an unprecedented budget or 2012, and beyond. However, what is lacking is demanding the wealthiest in America pay in, and address America's revenue problems via taxing the wealthiest, loophole closing, ending corporate welfare, and demanding the end of tens of billions in tax payer subsidies to $trillion oil companies, etc..
The pain is being felt now, and will be felt for a long time to come. Democrats must fight harder, stronger, and tougher when dealing with the Republicans.
