History was made last evening in N.Y. 26TH congressional district special election, as Democrat Kathy Hochul beat both opponents strongly.

The Associated Press called this race "within an hour of the polls closing." The Republicans support of The Republican Ryan budget, and the Republican plan to 'end Medicare as we know it' . . . did it for the constituents of this congressional district.

Does this special election congressional race offer a taste of what is to come?

Will Americans stand to the Republican onslaught, attack, and blatant assault on the American worker, and average American citizen?

Will the Republicans get away with the ripping, stripping, gutting, cutting, and looting of safety nets, women's rights, collective bargaining rights, and voters rights for Americas most vulnerable; the elderly, children, poor families, the disabled, and the economically wounded while simultaneously giving billions in tax cuts, billions in tax payer subsidies, and allowing tax loopholes to stand for millionaires and billionaires?

We shall see. But for now, congrats to Congresswoman Elect (D) Kathy Hochul, and the people of the N.Y. 26TH.
